TAPS rescues dogs from area local and rural pounds from euthanasia. We provide foster homes, food, and medical attention until a permanent adoptive home or rescue commitment is found. Our goal is to place every stray dog in our area in a safe and loving home.

How Do I Adopt a Dog?
Fosters Save Lives
If it weren’t for fosters we would not be able to save any dogs from being euthanized. As a foster, you provide a safe and loving environment for the dog to decompress after shelter life.
Please remember that these dogs may or may not have ever had a loving home or family so give them time to adjust to such a drastic change. Kennel stress and food aggression are common behaviors seen but should dissipate over time.
